How often do you weigh yourself? Everyday? What time of day? I weight myself every morning…before I’ve had anything to eat or drink. Probably not the greatest idea to weigh yourself everyday but I’m a glutton for punishment. I have the Tanita BF681W Scale plus Body Fat Monitor with Body Water % (see image below). I like the fact that you can get down to the 0.2 of a lb. because we all know that every 0.2 of a lb matters! You bet it does! This morning I hate my scale. Tomorrow I may love it. We have this love hate thing going on. Mostly hate but hopefully he’ll be showing some love soon.

hello lisetheloser
i used to be the same paranoid about my weight but eventually i discovered that there is more to life
not all good of course but simply more
I weigh myself every morning after trip to potty
I must weigh every day!! Mine also does .2 which I love and hate at times.
I’m 8 months out from surgery now and loving life!!!! I’ve lost 62 pounds so far and want to lose 24 more! Yea LapBand!!!
I take the viactiv multi-vitamin chews and the viactiv calcium chews. I just love the taste of both of them.
Oh and I’m from Texas.
I have a hard time keeping up with blogs but I’m LBT fairly regularly – hope to see you there!
Best wishes with your Band!
wombat
Alexandra…more to life than weight…do tell! J/K. It’s great that you have such a healthy outlook.
Wombat – we are so much alike. And a HUGE congrats to you. Sounds like we have very similar goals…only difference is that you have almost reached yours and I am just starting out. Do you have pictures of your progress? I am so jealous!
naturally there is more to life – work children blogging betrayel relationships love crying travelling its endless – bringing to life your mental physical spiritual existance whilst your metabolism and food intake is just your fuel to getting there – digest yourself into life
Very good points, alexandra – thank you for your post!
Almost every day. I have a Tanita but it only does .5 pounds.
Lisa,
Hi! I have been really considering a Lapband. I have my husband’s 100% support, but when I think about having it done I real get anxious. I weigh 219#’s and I am 5’4″ tall. I have tried many diets and have lost. However, it seems the moment I get to where I like, I start eating like I want and gain it all back.
Are you totally happy with you decision?
Margo
Hi Margo – we are very similar – I could lose the weight but the maintenance was the part I had trouble with…hence the lapband. So far I’m still in a lot of pain and looking very forward to my first fill in about 3 weeks…but I’m totally confident with my decision. I’ll tell you how happy I am in about a month or two! I have a feeling I will be overjoyed.
One thing I will say is that I have no regrets.
