Ms Robbie asked to see a full-size shot of me – and believe it or not, I didn’t have one. So I just had Erik take a couple. And here you go! Hopefully this image will morph into the incredible shrinking girl soon! (click on the image for the full size…and I do mean FULL size!)

I had my husband take a full shot of me the day before I got banded, I cant wait to start loosing some of this weight.
I would like to weigh myself now but dont own a scale I need to buy a scale. My clothes dont feel loose or anything so I dont think I’ve lost much weight yet.
Looking good Lise!
Rosie: I can’t wait to start losing enough so it’s noticeable. And I almost wish I didn’t have a scale right about now!
She Smiles – Thank you.
You look wonderful…
I am sorry that I come to you for answers, but I can’t seem to get what I want out of the online support groups. I haven’t lost anything since my procedure on Tuesday!!! I am following the rules, keeping a calorie intake log online, and sticking to the “under 800 liquid calories a day.” Yet, nothing lost!!! I am beginning to wonder if I did the right thing…
Planning on taking the pup for a walk this afternoon to see if it helps move things along. My post-op appt. is Tuesday too, and I am curious to see what the doc says.
Lisa – you have me laughing – what you may say is wonderful is pure UGHHHH to me! But thank you for the compliment nevertheless! I find that I have more luck in the support groups if I do a search using the keywords that are in relation to my question and then just read the posts – but I’m more than happy to try and answer any questions I can! Get this – I actually gained 3 pounds after my procedure and then lost them a few days later and then some so give it a few more days. Also, what type of liquids are you having? You did do the right thing – but you are bloated, your body is confused from going through surgery and you still have all of those fluids in you from surgery. Keep up with the liquids, keep walking and you’ll start to see movement soon.
Thanks so much; feeling a bit better now! I have been so stressed, that I started crying after reading your response.
I haven’t had anything to eat/drink yet today. Once I am hungry, I will have a sugar-free jello cup or pudding. Sometimes, I have Trader Joe tomato soup to change it up a bit. At the end of the day, I have a sugar-free Fudgsicle. Drinks consist of flavored waters, etc.
Guess it’s time to start moving more…
Don’t worry I am not hitting on you…..but you are truely one of the most beautiful persons I have met (or should I say gotten to talk to) in a long time. It is your personality, intelligence and wit that tops it off. I feel like I have known you forever just through your blogs, it’s uncanny. But keep the faith, you will be absolutely stunning when you get to the point you want to be.
I am going to set my goals very low, that way anything more will be a pleasant surprise. It took over a year or two for me too get to this size, so if I can just be patient. Four in a half days and counting. I decided to start the preop diet this Monday. It is easier to stick to it when I am busy working. It sucks but I am trying to eat the things I can’t after the surgery. I stumbled across this website yesterday

Talk about motivating. Look at her Oct. pics to now. Only 6 months. Wow. I have never spoke to her but her pics alone fuel my drive. How was your weekend? Did Hubby and the dogs go for a walk with you? I am sooo excited for this week. One the weather is breaking and will be in the high 60′s- 70′s this week. I think I have seasonal depression and this has been a long winter. Friday, the 1st day of my new life will be here before I know it. Well I take it back, I could do without tax day, but that night Tuesday is the finale of the biggest loser. I am so hooked this season. Just think Lise, we are going to know the feeling of great accomplishment like they will and look soooooooo good in just a few short months. Watch it…that will get u excited, I promise.
I will check back tonight on your website after I watch which goofy woman Bret Michaels chooses on VH1′s Rock of Love. I can’t believe I got hooked on that silly show. Oh well. I do have a few questions about post op for you. I will get back to ya.
Lisa – sometimes a good cry is not a bad thing!
Sounds like you are eating right – so keep up what you are doing! Also, I just came across this great PDF doc from the lapband website which helps to put things into perspective so read it!!!!

It’s not going to be a fast overnight process for us – but we MUST STAY STRONG TOGETHER!!!
Alice: Thank you thank you thank you!!! You are tooooo sweet! I totally agree that it’s easier to stick to the diet on the weekdays than the weekends…makes me look a little more forward to work! That gal on the website you sent me has turned into a stick! Dear lord!!! I’m jealous. Soooo jealous. Thanks for sharing! So you are a reality TV show buff, as well, eh? I’ve even gotten my husband hooked which he swore he never would be (he used to say that the only real reality tv was the news…well I sure changed that fast)! Can’t wait to hear from you later!
Lise
Lise,
Thanks for the picture of you! You are beautiful! So natural looking. (But girl, the clothes are too big already…gotta go shopping now!):)
I got back from my busy busy working photography weekend – late last night.
Took portraits of 121 different groups….over 1500 images. Wow am I wore out! My camera is still smoking!!
They might not even need to sedate me Wed. for my surgery!!!! hahaheehee…
I did have some help- had 3 computers going at the same time. But being busy took my mind off the surgery for 3 days.
The money will be good- help to pay for the surgery
Are you feeling any fuller now? This scares me to death…pay all this money and still be able to eat like a horse??? (talking about ME – not you here)
The nurse told me the other day at my pre-opt appt. that another nurse there had the lap band and has lost 60 lbs since Oct. and has NEVER had a fill. So go figure…
Any last minute advice? Tomorrow is all liquids for me. So I am having Chinese food for my “last Supper”.
Take care of you!
Ms. Robbie
Ms Robbie: You are too kind (as usual) – and NOOOO – my clothes are so not too big – not even snug!
So – your job sounds fascinating – where can we view some of your photographs??? Are you totally excited for tomorrow??? When will you be online to tell us how the surgery went? I’m feeling slightly fuller now – but not where I want to be – next fill is Thursday and I have a good feeling about this one. Last minute advice…be excited. Be super excited and don’t be nervous. And know I’m thinking of you!!!
