Lots of fun – and boy was it HOT! Well, hot for the Seattle area…about 80 degrees! We had an amazing time in the little beach cabin. To see all of the pictures from the weekend, click here.
Some highlights were…
Photos from our private beach in front of the cabin
Puzzles, puzzles and more puzzles

We forgot the dogs “doggie prozac” (don’t ask) so we had to stop at the Whidbey vet and have a temporary prescription filled…and while at the vet I saw on the wall a weight loss program for animals! Which included a BMI calculation for cats…and healthy recipes for animal treats…and a sad article about a dog that was fed a diet of beer and donuts.

And – I’m leaving Thursday night for a 4 day weekend at the cabin. Ahhh – life is too good!

You look amazing! Keep up the good work
I am now waiting for my insurance approval!
The pics of the water with the mountain in the backdrop is sooooooooo beautiful. How romantical. LOL The water was so close to the fire, did it ever go out? You made it through the heatwave. Anything over 60 right? Next time you are around people, have them take a pic of you and your wonderful hubby. I went to look for pics of me and my beau, and it is always just one or the other of us. I just hate being in front of the camera, but it will be cool in a year or so when I am a size 8 hopefully to look back and say wow.
I couldn’t imagine worrying about an obese pet, I can barely manage my own issues. But they are like your children, so I can see the importance. I had my 10 yr old out doing my 4 mile walk with me. He said he liked it better when I wasn’t dieting. LOL I didn’t bother him then. I am going to get the Wii fit so we can do it together.
So I went to the gym today and met with a personal trainer that I enlisted for 12 sessions. I told her “I hope you are not like Jillian off the biggest loser”. She laughed. Now I guess I don’t have any excuses. So on your 6 week post op, is that when we are given the okay to start lifting or doing free weights? It won’t be super heavy weights only 5-10 pounds. I just don’t wanna risk slippage while I am healing. Well keep up the good work Lise! The pics are awesome.
Looks like a real nice and relaxing place, have a nice 4 day weekend! I’ll give you an update once I hear back from True Results.
Lise-
You are looking great. Congratulations!! I love the pics and everything you keep posting. I had my surgery on Thursday, so I am home recovering. It’s going pretty well so far, mostly only sore at the port site (of course). Liquid diet now still for the first week, can’t even start my proteins until May 30th, go figure! Keep up the great work and the blogging, I love it!!
