Went into NWWLS this morning and met with the ooh so fabulous Dr. Montgomery. He was fantastic. Listened and explained so much and the end result is that he put me back to where I have restriction and I’m soooo happy! Life is so good again. Now I just need to get those pesky 10 pounds off that I gained while I was unrestricted and I’ll be a happy camper again.
Has anyone in the Seattle area had a tummy tuck or breast lift? If so, any doctors you would recommend?

Great news Lise! Glad to hear that you are back on track (darn doctors!).
Thank god!!! It must feel good!
It may sound odd, but I would get recommendations from your lap band surgeon. In my experience, plastic surgery as a result to weight loss surgery isn’t always the same as plastic surgery on someone who hasn’t lost a great deal of weight, as in, doing a breast lift on a 40 yr old who has lost elasticity as a normal result of age may not compare to the breast lift you (or I, as a fellow bandster) would need. Going to a surgeon who specializes in, or sees a ton of WLS patients might be a way to go? I’m in Denver, so I can’t recommend anyone in your area.
Dr. Nyte in Washington State (maple Valley?) is supposed to be really good…he has done work on two lap-band friends recently and his prices are fantastic too! I’d love to get a tt from him too but the hubby thinks I’m being totally vain and won’t let us go in debt for it:(
Congrats! Your story is a huge motivation for me! I’m having the surgery in 10 days…
I don’t know plastic surgeons in your neck of the woods but I have seen the work, and know a few of the patients for Dr. Alejandro Quiroz in Mexico and he is just amazing. He has people coming in from Brazil to do work.
Here is his website: http://www.cosmedclinic.com
And phone number:

I spent Sunday with a woman who had a complete body sculpture done by him after she lost 100 pounds with a lap band, and she’s gorgeous.
If you check his facility out, you’ll love it there. It’s pretty, cozy, spectacularly clean and organized. Just great.
Hi Lise,
Hey I was wondering if you could blog about a typical days diet when you have restriction. Im curious to know! I dont have restriction anymore. I got banded a few weeks ago and had restriction when I was swollen, but now that the swellings down I can pretty much eat anything I want. **sigh** My first fill is eight weeks out of surgery then my doc makes me wait four weeks in between ANY fill. Im thinking of finding a new Dr who wont be as strict with fills. Anyways, if you wouldnt mind blogging about a day of eating with your perfect restriction I would be really interested to know. =)
Hi sweetie ! I added you as my flickr friends
Smoooooooches !
Hope you are fine ! Just wanted to say hello from belgium
well helllloooo from seattle!
Hi there!
Your site has been a total motivation for me! Your weight loss is really impressive! I’ve been reading through your posts since I decided to have the surgery.
Just curious, since you’ve been through it all, whether you have any advice for me on my most recent post on my blog about emotional eating?

thanks!
Heather
I’d really like to hear what you eat on a day with restriction too because I have trouble figuring out if I’m restricted or not. I’d like to see how our quantities match up.
Wow. I think I answered my own question. I just had a fill and one and a half vegetarian chicken nuggets fills me up. I am RESTRICTED. Seriously.
Congrats!
Lise, how are you doing now that you have a fill again? I had a complete unfill a couple weeks ago and have gained ten pounds in twelve days!!!!!! I’m supposed to wait until Friday to be filled again but I’m going to try to get in before then. I’m out of control! Did your weight come off right after the fill?
Oh my gosh! I have spent some serious time looking for the likes of you on this site. Just found you by accident, but we have about the same stats and as I look at your 131 (if I could bold that, underline it and enlargen it, I would) I am motivated and excited. I started at 214 and am currently at 170, thinking that 145 would be my goal, but I think I like the sounds of 130 better. Old me thinking that it can’t be done, but you have proven me wrong. Great posts..keep up the good work..amazing!!!!
Hi Lise! How is it going now that you are back at restriction? I’m curious to know whether it is as hard to get that last 10 off now as it was initially. Losing restriction is definitely something that I find scary, though all has been well for me in that department.
I hope that all is well with you.
Catherine
